I began my marketing career in 1989, and I wouldn’t change a thing. One of the greatest blessings of my career was the opportunity to learn from and work alongside my dad. He taught me a lesson that has guided me ever since: people always come first, listen with an open mind, understand what matters most to your clients, and build solutions that truly help them succeed.
Together, we founded Signature Marketing Group, a full-service agency where I developed both my creative and strategic marketing skills. From corporate identity and branding to business development and long-term marketing strategy, I learned that successful marketing isn’t about creating more activity – it’s about understanding people, solving meaningful problems, and building lasting relationships.
Looking back, I realize those early lessons shaped the philosphy that continues to guide Signature Marketing Partners today.

For 25 years, Signature Marketing Group had the privilege of partnering with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies like Intel and HP to industry leaders such as Continental Airlines, Cargo. Those years shaped my perspective as both a marketer and business owner while giving our agency a reputation for strategic thinking and long-term client relationships. We also became recognized as a trusted marketing partner throughout the cargo industry.
That chapter led me into the corporate world, where I spent the next decade building marketing organizations from the inside. Working with companies such as Containment Solutions, NOV, EnviroCon Systems, and PERMA-PIPE gave me a deeper understanding of the realities business leaders face every day – aligning teams, navigating organizational change, building marketing functions, and demonstrating measurable business value.
Looking back, that transition changed me as a marketing leader. It reinforced my belief that great marketing isn’t created in isolation. It succeeds when leadership is aligned, teams work together, and every decision begins with understanding the customer.

Those experiences ultimately led me back to entrepreneurship – but with a very different perspective. I had seen firsthand the challenges organizations face when marketing lacks clear direction, leadership support, and a strong operational foundation. I also saw what was possible when marketing became a strategic partner to the business rather than simply a support function.
That realization inspired the creation of Signature Marketing Partners. I wanted to build a firm that helps organizations strengthen marketing from the inside out – creating clarity for leadership, confidence for sales, and better experiences for the customers they serve.
The name Signature Marketing Partners is both a tribute to my father’s legacy and a reflection of the partnership we build with every client. Today, we work alongside leadership teams as trusted advisors, helping organizations build the strategy, structure, and marketing capabilities needed for sustainable growth.
